Jessica started her career within a contemporary rock band called Tonedeaf
Jessica placed most outstanding female vocalist in 2000 at the Music industry association on the edge 2000
Jessica was runner up state finalist of the Commonwealth Youth Affairs National Battle of the Bands. Jessica was also awarded best
original song at the Millennium Rock Competition competing against 30 additional band and band members. Jessica remained an avid
member of Tonedeaf for 2 years.
Jessica then moved her career towards a duo performing with Lachie Robertson. Together they wrote/ composed and performed all
original music. Jessica and Lachie went on to receive the Advocate Talent search competition. Receiving this award allowed Both
Jessica and Lachie to perform as the opening act at the Federation Golden Guitar Winner's Concert.
Jessica and Lachie were employed by Conference Design. Conference Design hosted both state and nation conferences. These
performances included ABC Radio, McDonalds Australia Licensee Convention, Teachers Association of Tasmania,
Tasmanian Opening of Olympic Aquatic Centre held in Hobart and numerous other corporate events.
Jessica was selected as solo vocalist to record a C.D. of original material with song writers/ composers Paul Leary and Bruce Milne,
Jessica was Vocal arranger and Co- Production on this C.D.
Jessica has received recognition through out her career receiving several awards including:
Perpetual Trophy for most outstanding solo vocalist,
Tasmanian Music Association teachers award for most outstanding vocalist.

Jessica was then recognized by Managing Director Terese Jermyn of MASQUE Talent Agency for her outstanding ability to
perform and captivate an audience. Terese Jermyn noted that “Jessica's ability to perform was like no other. Jessica knows
how to captivate an audience and keep them coming back for more.”
This lead Jessica to a dramatic decision regarding her future career. In order for Jessica to become a success she would need
to become familiar with the advancements of music. Jessica knew she could captivate an audience with her succession of singing,
however she felt that she needed something to compliment her voice. This lead Jessica to the decision that she was would become
a self taught pianist.
Upon receiving recognition from MASQUE AGENCY Jessica found the courage from within herself to go forward and progress
to Sydney in order to further her singing career.
Upon Arriving in Sydney Jessica studied at MASQUE National Institute of Performing Arts where she learnt the basics of
Contemporary, Jazz, Tap and Street Funk.
Although this was very Beneficial to Jessica, MASQUE National Institute of Performing Arts was later closed leaving
Jessica to find new ways of continuing her training. Jessica was then selected to represent and further her training within the
Australian Institute of Music.
During her studies with Australian Institute of Music Jessica has learnt the fundamentals of making connections with other
musicians and allowing herself to grow within different facets of music.
Over the past 8 years Jessica has learnt to write and compose her own unique style of music. This has lead to many
opportunities such as performing at ‘Las Vegas ' celebrity Night performing with Scott Cain, James Campbell, Danielle Stearman
and SaFire Girls,
‘A Night to Remember' held at Norwest International Hotel, Ronald McDonald Golf Day,
Ronald McDonald House Westmead and numerous additional events.
Jessica's performances come straight from the heart as these are original pieces that relate to real
people in the real world. Jessica is an inspiring young artist set to launch a huge career within the industry.
